What post-processors can be used in CAD/CAM Kovoprog? Are there any limitations?
There are no limitations. The post-procesor is created accordingly to the user's machine specification and usage techniques. Various configuration tools are included in the post-processor itself.
How to repair the post-processor?
If there are any post-processor errors, the best way is to contact us via e-mail (or fax). Send us the examples made in CAD/CAM Kovoprog together with NC output files and marked errors. The corrected post-processor will be sent soon.
For how long can I request post-processor repairs after purchasing the program?
This time is not limited. If the user is in need of additional NC output corrections, our customer support will help anytime.
How does CAD/CAM Kovoprog communicate with the device?
Communication options are adjusted to support two usual ways to load the NC program into the device: Serial port output or File output (with custom suffix). When using serial port, the device (machine, paper perforator, trans etc.) requires the output settings (bandwidth, data bits etc.) to be specified correctly. The file output only needs the code page and the suffix to be set.
What is a macro in CAD/CAM Kovoprog?
Macro is simply a sequence of procedures that can be performed in CAD/CAM Kovoprog, then saved and used again whenever a similar sequence is required. Two types of macros can be created in CAD/CAM Kovoprog, TECHNOLOGIC and GEOMETRIC. Macro is a text written in the CAD/CAM Kovoprog program language beginning introduced by the macro keyword and ended by the endmac keyword. The system determines the macro by its name.
